Audacity - A fully featured FREE audio recorder and Editor
Courses that recommend this download: Applied A-Level ICT
Click the image go to the Audacity download area.

Let's face it, the sound recorder built into Windows is a bit basic, plus the file sizes it makes are HUGE - no good for an e-book. Audacity changes all this. It is a fully featured, studio quality sound editing package and is completely free. It can save files in a variety of types, including mp3 which is nice and small. Perfect for some e-book narration!

You may print your charts, generate PDF and HTML reports, exchange data with Microsoft(R) Project(TM) and spreadsheet applications.

 WinK - A FREE Flash©  Presentation Maker
Courses that recommend this download: Applied A-Level ICT

A number of sections of this course require you to show evidence of the work you have done. This can be done by simply using screen shots and .pdf documents.mixed

However screen shots are rather boring, time consuming and not very "information age" are they!surprise

Why not try something new.  Have a look at the sample material. WinKcan be used to demonstrate things in fancy little flash animations.cool

The software to do this is now available for FREE.

It is called WinK and you can download it from here big grin
