Those of you interested in the recently published school performance tables will have noticed that our 'value added ' score (the primary source of information in assessing the progress of students on entry in year 7 to year 11) was the fourth highest in Warwickshire secondary schools. Our VA score also placed us in the 16 percentile nationally. All of this allows the whole community to feel confident in the fact that all students - whatever their starting point - get a good deal out of their time with us. Of course, we will not rest on our laurels but strive to keep improving for the educational benefit of our young people.
What a fantastic drama production of 'I love you, you're perfect, now change!' It was thoroughly enjoyable and made memorable because of the remarkable performances of the cast. Well done to all of them and thank you to the staff team who enabled this fine show.
Can I please remind both parents and students of the Year 9 Option Evening scheduled for this Thursday evening. This is always a well attended event and your presence is very advisable as boys and girls make their decisions regarding some of the GCSE courses they wish to pursue next year.
